Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D from Grezzo and Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. The first major release for Nintendo's budding handheld, Ocarina of Time 3D is a 3D port of the classic 1998 original, widely considered one of the greatest games of all-time. This is more a refinement than a remake, as Ocarina of Time 3D preserves the core Ocarina experience and makes only the most necessary of adjustments. Hyrule hasn't changed at all in the last 13 years, but it does look an awful lot different...and that's what Ocarina of Time 3D is all about. Thanks for the response! I took your advice and went with Ocarina of Time. I'd beaten this game multiple times, and beat the 3D version? in 2 days and am now working on Master Quest! No regrets whatsoever!

Depends. Super Mario 3D Land is an incredible platformer that is a massive salute to the old NES Mario Bros. games, particularly 3, and then put into a 3-D environment. It's awesome.
Ocarina 3D is a refinement to one of video gaming's highest pinnacles, making what is arguably the greatest video game ever made, even better.
They're both about as good as it gets in their genres, which? are both quite different.
All that said, I'd personally recommend Ocarina of Time 3D.
